There is something mysterious about night time.
Aside from darkness.
It makes your mind and heart ponder.
It discharges all of your insecurities.
So much so that your heart becomes empty.
Emptiness, it is indescribable.
Sometimes it is overwhelming,
sometimes you are too occupied with life that you barely notice it.
Emptiness is a signal for need.
That need to be held and pampered as if you were a baby.
Like a child crying for milk,
a hopeless man yearning for a possibility,
a dreamy girl wishing to meet her prince charming.
One may never know.
"The One' that you spend your life waiting for,
could be the one who you barely talked to,
the silly boy who is completely your opposite type,
the family friend who you knew all your life,
or even the geeky guy with awful taste in clothing.
Could be, but would it be?
Does "The One" really exist?
Like day and night,
things of the complete opposite,
never together,
and yet, co-exist.
Like us coming from different directions,
east and west,
yet rounded up at a same dinner table.
They may overlap,
and they may meet,
only when fate calls.
Or they may never interact at all.
But if you are lucky, fate may call.
