Fitness: Workout routine

0 hugs

Health conscious is sort of an on-and-off thing for me. I've tried on several occasions to plan and implement healthy lifestyle routine, usually and especially when I was all gung-ho in the start of a new year, and I usually got very well with the planning part, but then I lost my enthusiasm and slack on really practising such plans. And then it becomes a bad cycle: lazy- lazier- lazier than lazier- not moving at all. LOL. But I want to stay fit. Speaking of which, I have to be honest, I was more focused on getting toned or losing weight/ flabby thighs in the past. But that's not my main concern now. Well, I still strive for body like these:-

... But it's less of a priority now than the fact that I want to feel fit. To be able to have a higher energy level, not being burdened by fatigue and sickness.

So I searched high and low for a practical workout routine over the net but could never really land in any which I felt connected to. So I guess with the aim to increase my stamina in mind,  I will just draw up my own routine and go from there.

Monday: Lower body

  • warm up: 5 mins
  • interval running: 20 mins ( 3 mins high intensity running/ 1 min low intensity slow jog)
  • squats: 20 reps
Tuesday: Abs
  • warm up: 5 mins
  • home cardio: 15 mins
  • abs training: 20 reps
Wednesday: Arms and chests
  • warm up: 5 mins
  • slow jog: 30 mins
  • chest presses: 20 reps
Thursday: off

Friday: Trouble spot (target on areas that need more work on)
  • warm up: 5 mins
  • interval running: 20 mins
  • leg training: 30 reps

I just really want to get rid of feeling fatigue easily.
