The last time I went to Scotland, which was also a summer, I almost thought I would die in freeze and killed by the strong wind, so this time, I made sure that I brought all necessary gears to keep myself warm. So I wrapped up like a bear -.-!
Partly also 'coz I wanted to look cute for my UGG boots but yeah..
So our first stop was the Royal Yacht of Britannia.
I lost count of how many glasses of Coke I've ordered throughout the journey, maybe that explains why I've been feeling so tired recently--overdose of Coke. LOL okay I really meant Coca Cola don't prosecute me just yet.
Babe with his lamb burger.
Me and my humungous chicken breast burger. SO EXCITED! 'coz I wanted to go to GBK (the burger store yes) for months now, and had never really gotten chance for it, so this satisfied me for now lol. I had to execute my diet plan first before I can plan my real visit to GBK lol I make it like as if it's a big thing #dramaqueen lol. After the hearty meal, we went to take a romantic stroll ('coz it was raining!) at the Royal Botanic Garden. Once again, I wrapped up, 'coz I obviously got old and couldn't stand any cold breeze fml.
Then we went to town and grabbed our dinner at a local pub, well, supposedly a pub, but I have no idea why it turned out to be a slightly more high class restaurant lol.
Babe's dad suddenly had the urge for wine so yay for white wine at the right time! I needed some alcohol fix in me to stay slightly 'hyper' or I was turning into this silent expressionless boring girl lol.
I wasn't that hungry after the big scrumptious lunch, I ordered a starter for my dinner. Walnut blue cheese soufflé something, at least I know for sure that it's soufflé lol. It's so fluffy and nice, if only I love blue cheese a lil' bit more I'd love it, but the fluffiness was definitely nice.
Babe ordered this cabbage wrapped beef thing lol. Well it's beef wrapped with cabbage. The thing with those who can never gain weight, they eat whatever they want anytime anywhere! Annoyingggg lol.
Again, we walked around the city for a bit after the dinner. After that we called the day off and went back to our hotel.
The next day, we had McDonald's for breakfast and I had their very nice bagel meal haha.
And randomly visited the The Two Bridges.
Calton Hill.
Babe acted all spartan spirit over there lol.
Then off we went to the Edinburgh Castle which his parents seemed most drawn to.
Olympic fever. One thing I discovered is that when someone is behind you, secretively take a shot of that person to find out what he's doing and you'd always see funny expressions. Eek, what did he see that makes him so curious? Let's discover it together.... lol
Long queue to purchase the ticket. Once again, the question of efficiency was to be brought up...
Breathtaking Edinburgh view.
...and mind blowing me. LOLOL okay okay just thought it'd nice to rhyme.
We were there just in time to see the one o'clock gun fired. This was the firer. By the way I shouted and babe gave me this omg-you-just-embarrassed-me-look darn I kept warning people my heart has no strength why don't just trust me? lol
Prisoners of wars.
Save me! Save me! Save me from my despair, will you? Save me!
Their bunk beds apparently.
I think I looked like witch here eh with the cape and all and fire blazing eyes haha.
Swords... and where is my warrior? :)
That's about it and then we drove back but made a brief stop at the Lake District which I will just post the pictures here hope it's not too extensive to take.
Lake District:
Oh oh babe's GPS gone cuckoo so we were kinda in between lost-and-not-lost state so we wasn't sure which side of lake district we're in but it's definitely lake district.
Trying to act buddy like *winks*
You jump, I jump!
'coz it's so shallow, but I still let him pretend to be heroic for one sec lol.
Should we jump? Okay yeah 'coz it's not practical let's go home baby lol my joke attempt is getting lamer :S
Okay, and then, we went home and slept soundly that night :)
