Who's there?
Olympic.
Olympic who?
Olympic torch!
OMG. How lame can my opening be?
Anyways, so self explanatorily, I'm going to blog briefly about the Olympic Torch Relay Celebration Concert in Leeds. Leeds was lucky to be chosen as the first place to hold the concert, so I could go! Babe got us entry tickets a while ago and I was soooo excited at first.
So I dressed up.
And notice my newly cut fringe, looked dumb there lolol.
Great that it didn't rain, but the wind is wayyy too strong.
Typical in-car vain pictures.
Queuing to get into the venue. It took place in the Temple Newsam park, which I had never been there and hence I did not know what to expect so I inappropriately wore my wedges. Most of them were seen in rain boots @.@!It was already crowded with thousands of people when we got in.
I actually think we went in at the best time 'coz the music was the nicest and we got to see Diversity from British Got Talent shortly. C o o l ~
Being one of the main sponsor for the event, naturally they have free iced cold Coca-cola giving out, but long crowded queue that is. I asked for 2 classics, and he gave me one Coke Zero and one normal Coke. Discriminating! He implied that I was too fat for classics fml! I am tall la, not FAT! lolol
You have to eat hotdogs in event like this! Like how you must drink beer watching football match in a stadium! So we went with empty stomach even though the hotdog costs RM 25 Malaysian Ringgit lor...! Enough to do a lot of things! Okay currency does not work this way, but still, this lousy hotdog for 5 pounds.
We sat down on the wet grass fml and this was our view, far, but quite nice, sitting side by side with families who apparently went there for family picnics lol.Chilling out for a while until the torch finally arrived..!
Torch bearer, Allen Bell. The black-belt karate kid. I might be qualify to be a torch bearer someday, as a black-belt tae kwon do tough girl! Lady sounds weird here so yeah lol.
Let's celebrate your future flames! It's your moment to shine!
Okay I am totally uncreative and copied their slogan.
We walked around the park up and down to get this beat generator/ frisbee/ paper drum, and only got our hands on it before we decided to leave. No offence but anyone heard of the band Friendly Fires? They drove us away, enough said. LOL.
Free Coke, poor people like me have to get another one before I left. Don't waste my effort and journey there! Oh and compensate for parking fee too! lol
And we rushed back to catch the UK vs. Italy football match on the telly. Sorry Britain, but I lost my bet with babe boooo!! I want to abuse my slave voucher too!
