"Life's tough", I conclude as I age.
Since young we were educated that nothing in this world is perfect, things break, plans fail, and people change. And yet, we drew ourselves closer to the deep misery within us every single time reality failed us.
Maybe it is a part of growing up. We then began to pretend that everything is fine. We are still the primp perfect person we portrayed ourselves to be. We are not hurt by that one expression, or that one cynicism. Deep down, we were just avoiding the issue.
The solution to this emptiness, I have yet to find.
Perhaps carpe diem is the answer?
Or perhaps, have faith that you are always loved, and take initiative to solve the misery.
I don't have the answer, but I'll always be there for you, just like how you were always there for me.
Have faith, and you can beat anything.
